Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Princeton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Princeton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Place for tennis, pickleball and badminton players. Well maintained and lit indoor and outdoor courts. Has Hardtru courts as well. Good coaches for lessons and drills.

I have been coming here since I was three, the one time that I decide to bring my friend who is good at playing the game we were kicked out because of supposed coaching. They have no proof of it, but decided to kick us off even though we repeatedly told them that He was NOT a coach. After paying the absurdly high price for late evening courts, we were still subjugated to harassment by a coach I was once taught by and another coach who was extremely disrespectful, as well as the owner. We had told them that he wasn't a coach and we still had to endure them yelling at us to get off of the court during the time that we were paying for it. They then proceeded to turn off the lights while we were rallying, which resulted in me running into the already shitty wall in the back while trying to receive one of his balls. The service here has gone in the dumps ever since the management changed and I hope no one would have to endure the treatment that my family and I got while there.

Iโm extremely disappointed with the Princeton Racket Clubโs complete lack of professionalism and organization. Over the past three sessions, only one coach โ Sarvin โ has consistently shown up. Sheโs fantastic and does her best, but sheโs clearly overwhelmed trying to manage all the kids alone. When we signed up, we were told there would always be two coaches per session โ a promise thatโs been broken repeatedly. For two sessions now, weโve been told that Scott is โinjured,โ yet no substitute coach has ever been provided. Thatโs not just poor planning โ itโs blatant disregard for the families who pay for this program. Whatโs worse is the total lack of accountability or responsiveness to feedback. The management seems uninterested in addressing legitimate concerns or maintaining the standards they advertise. This club needs to take a hard look at its commitments, staffing, and communication. Right now, it feels like theyโre content taking peopleโs money without delivering the quality experience they promise.

It was okay last year but this year it is going down the hill. We have been refistering their toddler classes for the past 2 years and this year they just keep changing the coach or they dont have enough coach in a session. Right now, only one coach teaches 8 kids where it is supposed to be 6:1 ratio. Dont see even there is a management to give feedback. On the good side, coach Sarvin is great and doing her best to teach these kids. Also no proper airconditioning in indoor courts.
